Risk disclosure
Automation changes the way orders are handled. It does not remove financial or operational risk.
Substantial financial loss is possible
Forex, gold, cryptocurrency-linked derivatives, and leveraged trading can produce substantial losses. Leverage amplifies exposure relative to deposited collateral. Loss protections and account obligations depend on the contract and jurisdiction; do not assume that every account limits losses in the same way.
Execution changes outcomes
Spreads, commission, financing, slippage, gaps, liquidity, order rejection, and broker processing affect actual results. Protective requests may execute beyond an intended level. A programmed stop is not a guarantee of execution at a specified price.
Grid, recovery, and hedging exposure
Grid strategies can accumulate multiple positions during an adverse move. Martingale or recovery techniques may increase exposure after losses. A profitable closed basket can coexist with substantial floating losses elsewhere in the account.
Hedging does not eliminate costs, margin requirements, operational dependencies, or all directional exposure. Unequal positions and separate exit times can create risks that a simple net-volume figure does not show.
Backtests and past results
Historical tests depend on data, modeling, parameters, and execution assumptions. Repeated optimization can overfit a sample. Demo and live environments may produce different fills. Neither a high win rate nor any single report proves future profitability.
Technology and oversight
Connectivity failures, terminal shutdowns, software bugs, configuration mistakes, security incidents, and platform updates can interrupt automated management. VPS infrastructure cannot eliminate these issues. Confirm which orders are held by the broker and which controls require a running terminal.
Account-level responsibility
Evaluate combined exposure, equity drawdown, free margin, and the behavior of all programs sharing an account. Define monitoring and intervention responsibilities. Educational content cannot determine whether a particular system is suitable for your situation.
